1985: Skyline begins working with glass and developing new glass technologies

1988: Etch Sealer introduced - easily maintain glass without fingerprint worries

1988: Skyline moves from original Ferdinand Street, Chicago, location to Chicago Avenue

1994: Fosilglas technology developed

1996: Fosilglas introduced – mimics handcrafted textured kiln-cast glass, an alternative to cast glass (at half the cost) - wins Best of NeoCon - Gold

1998: Skyline outgrows Chicago Avenue location and moves to Homan Avenue

1998: Coda Mirror line is introduced

1999: Laurinda Spear collaboration - first designer glass collection; first collection to offer scale shift, textured and non-textured etched collection

1999: Classic collection introduction – the beginning of two-sided decorative glass, this offers both privacy as well as a sense of movement

1999: Archiglas introduced – beginning of fine detailed patterning on etched glass

2000: Geometrics collection by Laurinda Spear wins NeoCon Silver

2001: Lumicast – the first embedded resin product – is introduced to market

2001: Archiglas Texture wins NeoCon Gold – fine detailed patterns on etched glass incorporating texture

2002: Gensler G Compendium – allowed preview of color/pattern options online – leading A+D company, scale, texture, translucency and color

2003: Weaves & Textures collection launched – introduced the bestselling Sateen pattern

2003: Fotoglas introduced – photographic images etched on glass

2004: Fotoglas technology wins NeoCon Silver

2005: Lumicast Folio introduction

2005: Vitracolor technology introduction – opaque backpainted glass for interior/exterior wall cladding; 30 standard colors with the ability to match custom colors

2006: Eco-etch technology introduced

2007: Lumicast discontinued

2007: AST – Advanced Screening Technology introduced to the market

2007: Greenplay featured as a BuildingGreen Top 10 Product

2008: Collection in Whites - in collaboration with Suzanne Tick – is launched and wins NeoCon Gold
