Environments Matter

Every day at Skyline, we aim to create the smallest footprint possible. Our sustainable stewardship drives our passion for responsible product design and clean manufacturing processes in the development of inspiring and innovative products.

That’s why we select and source materials locally, taking into consideration their environmental impact, recyclability, and reusability. Skyline is proud to meet and exceed its environmental standards.

Because environments matter, our philosophy reflects a dual regard for both built and natural environments. Our patterned glass products and Greenplay children’s furniture may contribute points in four out of the seven LEED-CI categories.

Here are the practices we’ve put in place to support our sustainability goals.
• Locally sourced materials
• Sustainable and renewable materials, including FSC-certified wood
• Fabrication processes that optimize energy use
• Minimal use of water through our state-of-the-art water reclamation process
• Minimal use of transportation materials
• Low-VOC paints and finishes
• Environmentally sound etching techniques
• Skyline Recycling Program for glass, metals, wood pallets, packing materials, corrugated paper packaging and paper plastic, batteries, toner and printer cartridges
• Use of non-toxic household cleaners in our facilities
